I didn’t know any breathing techniques before this pregnancy. I used different breaths throughout my labour and visualisations taught by Laura. These helped me to remain focused and have a far more positive experience…and I am really pleased I had no tearing and was able to get up and about almost straight away. Also the yoga stretches helped with my achy legs!
I really looked forward to Laura’s classes. They were a chance to focus on me and my baby and, in truth, one of the only times each week I was able to do this with such a hectic life. I always felt fully recharged after a session, even though I had almost fallen asleep in the relaxation part.
Laura’s a really inspirational teacher, full of positivity and she genuinely cares. I had done pregnancy yoga with both of my other children and it never included a whole package with breathing, labour positions, stretches, useful info etc. All the other classes had just been adapted yoga poses. She offers a complete package that supports and encourages women to have a good birth experience.
